What are SOA and WCF?
Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) is the concept of building a complete broad-concept task, such as submitting an order that can be used by other systems. These services abstract away the details of the programming and communication mechanism, leaving only an easily understood business concept. "Send this information, the order is submitted and dealt with and this comes back to you." WCF is the latest Microsoft technology for abstracting away communication issues. For instance, you can have a lightning-fast network connection to a service, then add a way to use the same service over a (slower)secure internet connection with just a change of configuration settings.

EPS Knows SOA and WCF
EPS has been building applications that are cleanly separated into tiers since version 1.0 of the .Net framework. Using advanced design patterns, establishing and enforcing strict coding standards and using a collection of both in-house and 3rd party tools such as Team Foundation Server, EPS has consistently stayed well ahead of common coding practices. They've welcomed the latest ideas and technologies and have built on those concepts in their Milos framework to reduce development time and increase quality.
